Answer: Really very responsive. It’s not s easy ultra turny answer but instead very fast edge to edge. To us we’re most comfortable on stiffer more aggressive boards. It felt great to go out on something like the Jones Carbon Flagship, Capita BSOD or Arbor A Frame and simply lay into turns.Traction: Just about as good as a boot can get for any situation from ice in the parking lot to hiking soft snow.Sole Cushioning: Felt soft and forgiving like the Kaiju’s do. Their are a set of individual squares that almost act independently like the Nike Boots Infants running shoes that make for a really shock absorbent and damp ride. It is easy on the human body with out being to pillowy and sluggish. When the editors of POLICE Magazine learned that Nike was planning to advertise its distinctive Field Boot–that was designed for military special forces–as a responsibility boot for law enforcement, we understood that we had to get our hands on a test-and-evaluation sample for inspection. We contacted Nike, and asked for a pair of boots. When we did we got more than we bargained for; we got an offer for enough high-top SFB boots to ensemble a group of officers. And that’s precisely what we did. We contacted a team of officers in the Chicago Police Department, captured their dimensions, and Nike sent them the boots. They wore the new Nike SFBs during 12-hour shifts of crowd control duty last summer and scored them on relaxation, features, durability, and what law enforcement assignments they would be helpful for, and value. Listed below are a summary of the testimonials.
