Chanel’s New Boots Are So on Trend

Season after season, Chanel has a knack for giving us a new It shoe to fawn over. The classic flat, the two-tone pump, and now the boot. For F/W 18, designer Karl Lagerfeld is bringing to life a new cap-toed mid-calf boot that’s already become a favorite among It girls and street style stars. 

The style comes in a host of cool colors, but one special standout is the boot in red, a hue that you can expect to see a lot of come fashion week and in the coming season. (Look out for silver, too.)  

While boots are not a new style for Chanel, the fashion house makes note that the style is one inspired by Coco Chanel’s own footwear choices, “Although she never included them in her collections, she herself wore them in all circumstances.”
